Lifting instructions – bearing capacity calculations
ShipCon’s services include lifting instructions and structural calculations for bearing constructions. In addition, we provide similar calculations for the assessment of local reinforcements in marine constructions.
We have extensive expertise and experience in this field including detailed drawings, heavy lifting calculations, design of lifting yokes, crane foundations and advanced lifting operations. You will find examples and references below.
ShipCon conducts structural calculations in compliance with the rules and regulations in force depending on the size and use of the construction:

We only use software that has been specifically developed for the purpose e.g. Ansys, 3-D Beam and our own well-proven software solutions.
